• Dates: Every other Friday, February 19th-May 14th 2020
• Time: 4:00-5:00 PM
• Closing Program: Tentatively May 15th, 2020
• Esthers will be broken into classes I-IV based on age. (See details below.) Classes will meet in large rooms and girls will be asked to spread out.

The Ministry Team will be meeting once a month on a Saturday to learn additional dances. Girls going into 6th grade and above may choose to join the Ministry Team.

Starting at age 5, younger girls will get the opportunity to be a part of DOZ. They will also learn basic technique, receive Biblical discipleship, learn choreography, and make some great friends! The girls will be broken up into age-specific levels and will meet in their separate peer classes during the semester.

All DOZ girls will be required to wear a DOZ t-shirt (we have these available for $5) with black bottoms conducive to movement. They will need their tambourines, a water bottle, and a mask for exiting and entering the building. They will be asked to wear a mask through the duration of the class, except during mask breaks when spaced apart from the other students. Please do not allow your child to come if they are sick.

DOZ will be held at 3 Elm Street in Rockville CT (Union Church). We will be using multiple rooms in order to keep students spread out and to allow classes to run without hindrance from other classes.

There are multiple levels to the Daughters of Zion ministry based on age.

• Esther Is are the youngest group starting at ages 5-6. They will be learning basic tambourine patterns to be used in worship dance, memorizing scripture, practicing basic dance technique, learning about the Lord through age-appropriate Bible studies and learning worship dance choreography.
• Esther IIs are the next group level for ages 7-8 which will build upon the syllabus for the Esther Is. Their class time will consist of similar structure, but they will be learning additional tambourine patterns and more dance technique. They will also have the opportunity to learn other types of choreography for worship dance.
• Esther IIIs is the third level for ages 9-10. Again, they will be continuing to learn and build upon what the Is & IIs learned in preparation for possibly taking the next step to become a trainee for the ministry team once reaching 6th grade.
• Esther IV A is the next level for 11-12 year-olds who will begin to focus in on specific aspects in preparation to be on the ministry team. While being on the ministry team is not required, it is an opportunity for girls to grow in their faith in Jesus with one another, learn worship dance and basic ballet technique. It will also give them an opportunity to worship the Lord together through dance and share that worship with others through various ministries (i.e. nursing homes, church services etc.) Girls in the Esther IV A group have the option of staying an additional hour and participating as part of the ministry team.
• Esther IV B are for the girls who have had one year of training already and are on the team but still in training to finish specific requirements for the ministry team. They participate fully as a team member and may have opportunity after finishing their requirements in learning how to teach, though being a teacher is an opportunity and not a requirement for being a team member.
• The ministry team is for all girls 6th &up who are in the Esther IV As or Esther IV Bs and those who have already completed their requirements and are current team members. This group will meet for 2 hours on one Saturday per month, and will focus on learning more choreography, studying the Bible, ministering at various venues etc. Girls who are training for the team are required to purchase a team tambourine, which they will purchase through Daughters of Zion.
• The teacher team is for team girls who have expressed interest in sharing DOZ with the next generation. It is not a requirement to be a teacher.
